Relax the Body, Quieten the Mind, Nurture the Soul

Meditation Tips

 

Above all, be gentle with yourself. Do whatever feels and is right for you. Always!

If you experience pain or discomfort of any sort remember you are

the master of your own ship. Some people may find difficulty in the breathing or relaxation exercises (for example:  asthmatics, arthritis or other conditions).

Consult your healthcare practitioner before beginning new techniques.

 

Go at your own comfortable pace. 

Allow yourself to enjoy any resultant relaxation or

contentment which comes to you.

Don’t try to relax! 

 

Relaxation is like happiness. 

It is actually a by-product of doing something else.

 

Practice anytime, anywhere. You can take a moment’s break at work

and take a deep breath, stretch and experience yourself bathed in light.

 For longer periods, you may wish to sit or lie down comfortably at an

undisturbed time. To allow energy to flow freely throughout your body

maintain an open position with arms and legs uncrossed.

 

Be creative. Explore what works for you. 

Combine techniques.  Experiment for yourself.

Try different techniques at different times.
